Tuition for weekly lessons is $168, $244 or $319 per month for 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons. Additional time for longer lessons or lessons for siblings or parents is discounted 10%, reflected in the tuition amounts above.


Piano Lessons in Portland with Elaine Sanders

Portland based Elaine Sanders is an experienced music teacher who has taught private lessons on piano, flute, clarinet, and saxophone for over a dozen years. Her students have performed at recitals and festivals, consistently earning Superior and Excellent ratings in state-wide competitions. She taught band, choir, and elementary music (K-12) for five years in public schools in Oklahoma and New Mexico. During that time, her ensembles consistently earned Superior and Excellent ratings at festivals. She also taught band for two years at a private school in Oregon, where she successfully restarted the band program after many years of absence. Elaine’s teaching style is friendly and welcoming, and she adapts her approach to each student individually.

As a performing musician, Elaine has performed at churches, weddings, funerals, and special events on flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, and piano for many years. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
