Welcome to our Philadelphia Studio! Our experienced teachers have experience working with beginners, kids and adults in Suzuki or traditional methods. We help our families fit music into their lives by providing in-home lessons so that you and your child can focus on musical success without wasting time running around town. Lessons are available across Philadelphia and the Main Line, including Lower Merion Township, Radnor Township, Gladwyne and Villanova.
If you are interested in starting lessons on a new instrument or continuing your lessons with us, just contact our office and we'll work together to find the right teacher for you. We'll ask about your location and schedule as well as experience and learning style so that we can connect you with the perfect teacher. We strongly believe that there is no one size fits all in music lessons, and our teachers create individual learning plans for all of their students.
Performance opportunities are an important step in you and your child's musical journey, so we offer frequent recitals. They are a great place to learn about performance and share with family and friends!
We work with a trusted team of experienced teachers who understand the demands of daily life and are ready to help you with your specific needs and goals. Call or email us today and we will connect you with one of our great teachers for violin, viola, cello and piano lessons in your home.

Emma Method, violin and viola, has been teaching both instruments for six years, working with beginning and intermediate musicians of all ages. Inspired by the famous pedagogue Karen Tuttle, Emma teaches with a focus of relaxation, total body integration, and breathing, as well as other aspects from Tuttle’s “Coordination Technique”. The choice of materials, while always including a mix of technique and repertoire, is developed alongside the student, as teaching should always be a highly individualized process. She is currently completing her degree in viola performance at Temple University.
As a violist, Emma has performed with the Temple University Concert Orchestra as principal violist, and the Grammy nominated Temple University Symphony Orchestra as a section violist, including concerts in the Kimmel Center and Alice Tully Hall. Previously, she was the principal violist in the Stretto Chamber Orchestra, touring with them through Eastern Europe in 2014. Additionally, Emma worked and performed at the Blue Mountain Chamber Music Festival, as well as volunteering at the associated day camp. Currently, she studies with Kerri Ryan, associate principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and has previously studied with the respected violinists Genaro Medina and Robert Vieira.
Laura Vidmar, violin and viola, has studied the violin with several students of Ivan Galamian and Dorothy Delay. She has a Masters in Performance from Temple University and is a trained teacher in the Suzuki method, registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She has been a freelance performer with many local orchestras and an avid chamber music player. She has been on the faculty of the Wyomissing Institute of Fine Arts, the Academy of Children's Music, Temple University Community Music Program and the Dresher School of Music and the Vidmar Academy of Music, and teaches a Kripalu Yoga Class. Past interests include a PhD in Mathematics.
