William Estes, Violin
An active performer and an enthusiastic educator, William Estes has been playing and studying the violin for over 20 years. He recently graduated with his Masters degree in violin performance from the University of North Texas while working as a teaching assistant. William has had experience teaching students of all different ages and strives to make lessons fun and engaging.
In addition to being a devoted teacher, William is also an accomplished performer. He is a current member of the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and the Abilene Philharmonic and performs with other ensembles in the area including the Dallas Bach Society and the Orchestra of New Spain. At UNT, he led the symphony orchestra as concertmaster and regularly performed with the UNT Baroque Orchestra. Before moving to Dallas, William held positions with the Winston-Salem Symphony, the Greensboro Symphony, and the Fayetteville Symphony in North Carolina. While playing with these groups, he has had the opportunity to play with popular music acts such as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, and Deltron 3030.
William moved to Dallas with his wife, Victoria, from North Carolina during the summer of 2016 after they both completed their Bachelor’s degrees in violin performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Together, they perform for weddings and various events, both business and social. They both enjoy cooking and traveling together in their free time, as well as keeping their two naughty cats, Thomas and Duchess, from getting into too much trouble!
