Teresa Bloemer, Violin

 I'm a passionate and enthusiastic instructor, who loves working with students of all ages and skill levels. In 2018, I completed my Performance Diploma in Viola from Boston University and am currently working toward a master’s degree at the same institution. Before that I lived in North Texas and taught private lessons in the Lewisville Independent School District while free-lancing extensively in both the Dallas area and some of the surrounding states. I have performed with many ensembles including the Fort Smith Symphony, the Dallas Chamber Orchestra, and the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra. This past summer I played in the Ohio Light Opera Orchestra, presenting over fifty performances in an eight week season. Before that I participated in the Brevard Music Festival, the Hot Springs Music Festival, and the Castleton Festival. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from and work with amazing musicians, who continually inspire me and remind me why I chose to be a musician. For me teaching is a wonderful opportunity to combine my passion for music with my love of problem solving in order to help students define and achieve their goals.
