Piano Lessons with Jay F.

Jay F. believes piano lessons should be exciting and encouraging from the very first note. He loves helping young students discover the joy of music in a supportive and fun environment.

He currently works as a pianist for The Walt Disney Company, performing in choir workshops and the beloved Candlelight Processional. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida, he taught piano classes ranging from beginner to advanced and provided extra support through tutoring. Jay has also guided children and college students in piano, music theory, and Spanish, making him especially skilled at explaining ideas in fun and approachable ways.

Beyond the classroom, Jay has performed at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, collaborating with talented young musicians from across the country, and with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, where he shared music and stories with audiences of all ages.

Jay holds a Master of Arts in Music from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rollins College. He is passionate about helping kids build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music through piano.
