Piano Lessons with Isabelle L.
Isabelle has been playing piano for over 13 years and spent 10 of those years competing at the county and state level, consistently earning top placements. She has a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance, with a special love for gospel and jazz.
Isabelle has taught her own private practice students and at the Champaign School of Music, where she worked with students ages 5 to 60 and of all skill levels. Her background helps her bring a thoughtful, person-centered approach to teaching—focusing not just on skill-building, but also on helping students connect with music in a way that’s meaningful to them. Her goal is to develop well-rounded musicians through a person-centered, goal-oriented, and individualized approach.
Isabelle graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Communication. She’s currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. In her free time, she likes to be outside, read, and play pickleball!
