Soroush Naji was born in Mashhad, Iran, and started playing piano when he was five years old. As a teenager, he had the honor of being a teaching assistant, which sparked his love of teaching. Soroush earned his teaching certification in 2016 from the Aria Institute of Iran and began his teaching career with a full studio of students aged 5 to 16 years old. Soroush moved to Minneapolis in 2018, and teaches for several music institutes throughout the Twin Cities including Prince Music Company, Opus Music Academy and City Strings & Piano. He is an avid performer and has experience playing concerts, events and at universities.  He plays mostly classical piano, but also enjoys contemporary and modern music.

Soroush is available to teach beginner to advanced students of all ages, and his technique is tailored to each individual student. He believes knowing how to play the piano makes you excel at other areas of life. Soroush’s piano lessons are conducted in a friendly and low pressure environment. His main goal is to make the lessons fun, especially for kids, so they enjoy coming each week and learning new skills. Soroush also puts an emphasis on communication with his students and their parents, so everyone can work together on the same long and short term goals. He views each lesson as a new and exciting challenge for him to pass his love of music along to the next generation.
