Violin Lessons with Clyde E.
Clyde E. started playing violin when he was five years old, but it wasn’t until he tried his hand at busking on the streets of Paris during a family vacation at age nine that he realized he had found his purpose.
That realization led to him spending the next ten years attending fiddle camps from Arizona to Ireland, as well as attending summer sessions at both the Berklee School of Music in Boston and the University of Limerick in County Clare.
He has studied everything from classical to American folk to Celtic and jazz.
He studied Commercial Music at Utah Valley University, where he learned about music production, recording and pedagogy (teaching). He also added viola to his repertoire.
In 2024 he moved to SLC, where he divides his time between teaching, recording, and playing with his bands, Finch and the Magpies and Witchwood.
He has taught all ages, from preschoolers to retirees, and feels confident that he will be able to help anyone achieve their violin playing goals.
