Cello and Piano Lessons with Eliza B.

Eliza B. is a dedicated cellist and pianist with over a decade of musical experience. She began studying cello in 2015 and completed formal Suzuki training through all Suzuki cello books. She has also studied piano since 2012. Throughout her musical education, Eliza has participated in orchestra camps, All Region Orchestra, the Greater Southwest Orchestra, solo competitions on cello and piano, honors recitals, and numerous other group and solo performances. She earned an Associates Degree in Music with a cello focus and an emphasis in piano from Amarillo College School of Music, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance from West Texas A&M University.

Along with her personal education and performance experience, Eliza is an educator. From 2020–2024, she taught private cello and piano lessons, and from 2024–2026 she served as a cello coach with the Amarillo Symphony Youth Orchestra, leading cello sectionals and assisting students during rehearsals and performances. Since 2023, she has also been a member of the cello section of the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra which helped her earn her youth symphony teaching position in addition to several other paid gigs.

Outside of music, Eliza recently celebrated a very exciting new chapter in her life: she got married in March and has since moved to Utah with her husband. She is excited to begin building a new community here and looks forward to sharing her love of music with students in the area. When she isn’t teaching or performing, Eliza enjoys spending time with her family, being around animals, and occasionally reading and crocheting. She is excited for all the new experiences and opportunities that this next chapter in Utah will bring.
