Violin Lessons with Saihaj B.
Hello, my name is Saihaj, I am a graduate student at the University of San Francisco and a multi-instrumentalist with a specialization in guitar and violin. I have 22 years of violin experience, going back to when I was 4 years old and have been playing ever since. I was educated in the Suzuki Method by a teacher who attended the National Observatory of Music in Paris, France, who provided me with a holistic, passionate, and thoughtful musical education that emphasized refining one’s intuition, awareness, and cognition in ways beyond music itself. I participated in youth orchestra’s from elementary school until my high school graduation, performing across the country from places such as Disneyland in Middle School, to Carnegie Hall in 2015 during my High School years. I am passionate about the expressiveness of the violin and am comfortable playing in many distinct styles ranging from Baroque & Classical to Romani, Fiddle, and Hindustani music, with further experience in improvisatory techniques. In addition to violin, I also play guitar, bass guitar, harmonium, and rabab, and I work with music production machines and software to create my own music that is officially on Spotify. Beyond music and grad school I also enjoy swimming, soccer, and surfing.
