Violin & Viola Lessons with Cayenne X.

Cayenne is a violinist and violist holding a Bachelor’s degree from the China Conservatory of Music and a Master’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, currently pursuing a Professional Studies Certificate in Viola.

As a teacher, Cayenne emphasizes strong technical foundations, healthy and sustainable playing habits, and integrating music theory and musicianship into playing. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, learning style and individual goals, while maintaining technical standards. With an encouraging and supportive approach, Cayenne helps students build confidence, develop independence, and discover the joy and fulfillment of learning music. Students are also encouraged to reflect on key lesson takeaways and establish clear, practical goals for their individual practice.

In addition to teaching and performing, Cayenne has production experience in schools, theaters and festivals, including audio-visual operation and recording.
