Hi, I'm Karolyn! I'm a Berklee-trained pianist and educator with over 24 years of teaching experience. I work with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players, helping them build strong musical foundations while working toward their individual goals. In addition to extensive training in piano performance and pedagogy, my studies include music cognition, psychology, and the science of skill development, giving me a deeper understanding of how students learn, retain information, and develop lasting musical skills. My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student, with an emphasis on building confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of music.
