Violin, Viola & Piano Lessons with Laura L.

Laura Lopez began piano lessons at the age of 5, violin through the public school program at age 9, and private violin lessons at age 11. Throughout middle and high school she was presented with many musical opportunities, including teaching violin lessons, playing with the Livermore-Amador Symphony, participating in several honors music festivals, and performing in the pit for the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, she moved to Southern California to study music at Chapman University under the instruction of William Fitzpatrick (violin), Robert Becker (chamber music), and Karen Knecht (piano). October 2014 brought the exciting dream opportunity of becoming a Disneyland Musician as part of California Adventure’s Olaf’s Snowfest, in which she performed for the two years the show ran. In May of 2015, she received a Bachelors of Arts in Music with a minor in Integrated Educational Studies from Chapman University. After graduating, she began teaching violin, viola, and piano professionally, and has been enjoying teaching for 9 years.
