Piano Lessons with Kunyi H.

My name is Kunyi, and I am a pianist, harpist, and music educator based in Sacramento, California. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California, Davis, where I focused on piano performance, pedagogy, and music history. I am also a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC).

I teach piano and music theory to both young students and adults, and I enjoy creating lessons that emphasize communication, creativity, and individualized learning. I have also performed at senior communities, volunteered at libraries, and worked in customer-facing roles, all of which have strengthened my communication and organizational skills. I am fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Taishanese, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, musicality, and expressive ability at the piano.
