Piano & Harp Lessons with Kunyi H.

Kunyi H. is a piano and harp teacher based in Elk Grove, California, with an educational background in music and experience working with children. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California, Davis in June 2025, where she studied music alongside coursework in education, communication, and child development. Her capstone project, Piano Education for Younger Learners, focused on creating simple, effective lesson plans and improving communication strategies to better support young students.

Kunyi also holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Sacramento City College, which contributes to her strong organizational and time-management skills. She gained hands-on teaching experience as a Student Teaching Assistant at UC Davis, where she developed learning materials, scheduled lessons, monitored student progress, and communicated with families.

In addition to teaching, Kunyi has worked for several years as an Administrative Assistant, building reliability, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taishanese, allowing her to work comfortably with families from diverse backgrounds. Kunyi strives to create a patient, supportive learning environment where students can develop solid piano skills and confidence in their musical growth.
