Violin Lessons with Mzuri R

Mzuri R. is dedicated to helping students discover the joy and confidence that comes from learning the violin. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she fosters a positive, encouraging environment in which students develop strong technical skills, musical artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

She is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, earned a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Marylhurst University, and has a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Oregon.

Mzuri has taught students of all ages in both private and public-school settings and has served as Assistant Conductor and sectional coach for the Salem Youth Symphony. She is passionate about helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of music.
