Violin & Piano Lessons with Yulin Liu
Yulin Liu began performing at a very young age, displaying talent both as a violinist and pianist. As a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, she has made appearances in Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, Saint Thomas Church and the National Concert Hall in Taipei among others, and has performed throughout Taiwan, China, Japan, Europe, and North America.
As a passionate and sought after teacher, Ms. Liu has been teaching the violin and piano since 2008, and is experienced in working with students from all ages and levels. After relocating to New York in 2012, she began teaching at schools such as the New York Conservatory, Long Island Conservatory, Fort Lee School of Music, and the CUNY outreach initiative, Harmony Program.
Aside from teaching, Ms. Liu is an active performing artist throughout the New York, New Jersey and Boston area. She is a reoccurring artist-in-residence at the MostArts Festival in Alfred, NY and is currently the recipient of a piece commissioned by the renowned composer David Loeb for her new and upcoming project for violin and marimba.
Ms. Liu earned her bachelor degree form Soochow University in Taiwan. She received her Artist Diploma from the Cincinnati Conservatory under the tutelage of Piotr Milewski and her Masters of Music degree at the Mannes School of Music under the guidance of Professor Chin Kim.
