Piano Lessons with Kennon Ward
Kennon Ward began playing the piano at age 10 and quickly excelled at the instrument and music composition/production. After being discovered by Hank Aaron and the Chasing the Dream Foundation, Kennon received multiple scholarships and began attending undergraduate-level music courses at age 12. Continuing to perfect his craft, while majoring in Piano Performance and Music Composition at Columbia College Chicago, Kennon worked as a Music Producer/Session Musician for a prominent music studio. He has traveled nationally, performing and composing for various artists, film/tv projects, and religious organizations.
Mr. Ward believes that everyone could discover their innate ability in learning to play an instrument if they are passionate about making music. He is passionate about motivating students to nurture their talents and teaching them the theory and structure behind their musical abilities. His goal as a teacher is to be fluid and flexible to various learning styles and equip each student with the necessary tools/knowledge to grow and improve musically. He also believes that the beauty of teaching music effectively is that it helps students gain more patience, self-control, commitment, and discipline.
