Cello Lessons with Cullen O’Neil
Cullen O’Neil is a New York City-based cellist originally from Kalamazoo, MI. Orchestral and chamber music performances have brought her across North America and Europe to venues such as Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, Mariinsky II in St. Petersburg, Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, the Helsinki Musiikkitalo, and the Philharmonie de Paris alongside Les Arts Florissants. She is a founding member of Quartet Salonnières, a New York-based historical quartet, which made its New York debut at the GEMS Midtown Series in December and will be releasing its first album in April.
Cullen is currently a masters student at the Juilliard School, where she studies baroque cello with Phoebe Carrai. In 2019 she graduated with degrees in modern cello and music theory from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Richard Aaron. Cullen freelances as a performer in both Michigan and New York City, and teaches cello and music theory lessons.
