Piano Lessons with Annie Tai
Annie Tai is a classical pianist based in New York. She grew up training with pedagogues from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory since age 5. Her professors were of the Neuhaus musical lineage, who was the central figure for the world famous russian piano school. Annie grew up participating in many summer festivals before moving to California from Singapore. After graduating high school, she pursued her piano study with professor Victor Rosenbaum at New England conservatory in Boston, focusing on Beethoven and Brahms at the time, she was later invited to study at the Mannes School of Music in New York for BA in piano performance. Under the tutelage of Eteri Andjaparidze, another renowned Russian pianist of the Neuhaus lineage, Annie studied Mozart and found her own voice in the music of Alexander Scriabin, performing at the concert of the 100th anniversary of Scriabin at Steinway Hall.
