Piano Lessons with Kevin L.

Awarded “Taiwan's best performance” by American Music Teacher Association for many years and promoted in American Music Magazine, Taiwan born pianist, Kevin Liu started his piano career at the age of five. He has gone to perform his music around Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, Armenia, and North America. He has attended many festivals, including Perugia Music Fest, Aragats International Music Festival, Philadelphia Youth Pianist Academy, and Arte-Piano Festival , giving him a great network of musicians around the world. He has won several awards and competitions, including the first prize in 2023 Servaas International Online Music Competition, the third prize in the 2019 Armenian International Music Competition, and the second prize in 2019 Hong Kong International Piano Competition. In addition, he also won the Gold Award in the 2015 New York International Music Competition, the third prize in 2013 in the 18th Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open Competition in the all ages group, and the first prize in 2013 Taiwan National Student Music Competition. He made his debut recital in 2017 at his home town at Kaohsiung City Music Hall, and appeared in many concerts at Kaohsiung Cultural Center with the Kaohsiung Teachers Orchestra conducted by Wen-Ru Liu, and at Sara dei Notari in Italy with Perugia Orchestra conducted by Elton Globerson. He has been coached by Ursula Oppens, Gary Graffman, John Perry, Meng-Chieh Liu, Ching-Yun Hu, Gwhyneth Chen, and many other maestros. Currently, he is based in New York, pursuing his bachelor degree at the Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Dr. Marc Silverman. Next season, he will take part in more international competitions and perform in several concerts.
