Interested in Teaching in-home lessons with City Strings & Piano?
City Strings & Piano has placed students with our incredible teachers for over 10 years. Our goal is to find reliable, long-term students to fill your schedule. Whether you’re looking for 2 new students or 30, we’re here to help! We are teacher owned and operated, and we run our studio with a teacher-first mentality. If you’re happy, it’s likely that your students (and their parents) will be happy too! We designed our system with this in mind.
How it Works
We’ll email or text asking if you’re interested in a specific student based on their location
Put it into Google Maps to see if their location works for you. We encourage grouping students together for efficiency, but you may need to start with 1 or 2 in a new neighborhood at first.
Get back to us ASAP. If the answer is yes (hopefully it is!), let us know the days and times that work best for a recurring lesson.
Once the student signs up with us, you teach them weekly in their homes at their scheduled day and time.
If the location or student doesn’t work for you, just say “no thanks” and we’ll place them with a different teacher.
How does the schedule work?
Plan your own lesson schedule. Students should receive 44 lessons each year.
You decide which weeks to teach and which weeks to take off. Every teacher has their own unique schedule.
Just make sure that your students get 3-5 lessons each month, and that it adds up to 44 lessons over the course of a year.
