Tina Pang, Piano Teacher
Tina Pang graduated with a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Mannes College of Music in New York City, where she performed extensively as a recitalist and chamber music in the renowned concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Steinway Hall. Before moving to New York, she pursued advanced studies in Jacob School of Music, where she studied closely with Edward Auer, a Warsaw Chopin Competition prize winner. At a young age, she was admitted by Middle School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music and graduated with top grades and numerous awards.
Tina now resides in Plymouth, MN and focuses on youth music education. She believes that every student has strengths and weakness that can be drawn out and assisted. She is experienced in teaching students of all levels and her aim is to cultivate a rich musical sense in her students and to help them develop a solid technical foundation. Her specialty is to discover each student’s potential and familiarizing students with relevant musical theory and technique to help them fully appreciate the music they play.
