Originally from Nashville, TN, Caty Dalton started playing violin at the age of five. Caty continued her music education and received her Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance from The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford under Rita Porfiris. Caty has performed both solo and chamber works throughout the United States and Europe, and is the Co-founder and Co-director of the chamber music festival, Bach at the Rock. Caty has taught private lessons since 2015, and is a trained Suzuki Violin teacher. In her free time, Caty loves to sight read chamber music with friends, play board games, and be at the lake as much as possible!
