Violin & Piano Lessons with Amaya S.

Amaya is a dedicated and experienced violin and viola teacher with a warm, student-centered approach perfect for young learners. Originally from Cuba, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and advanced training in music pedagogy from Spain and Cuba. Amaya has taught at prestigious conservatories and schools for over six years, working with students of all ages, from elementary to high school.

Now based in Richfield, Minnesota, she teaches in several Twin Cities schools and specializes in building a strong foundation in violin technique, while keeping lessons engaging and creative. Amaya is passionate about nurturing each child’s unique musical voice, whether they are just starting out or preparing for recitals and auditions. Her lessons integrate fun, discipline, and artistic expression to help kids build confidence through music.

She speaks Spanish and English and welcomes students from all backgrounds into her supportive, joyful studio.
