Violin & Piano Lessons with Brianna Talusan
Brianna Talusan is a violinist and teacher based in Minneapolis, MN. She is working toward earning her B.M. in Performance at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities while studying under Professor Stephanie Arado. As a Twin Cities native, she grew up playing programs like the Greater Twin-Cities Youth Symphony, MMEA All-State Orchestra, and Northern Symphony Orchestra. She is extremely passionate about chamber music and has participated in festivals such as Green Lake Festival of Music, and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington, VT. Currently, she is a member of the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mark Russel Smith.
As an educator, Brianna understands that all students learn differently and have different goals. Each lesson is planned to cater to the needs and interests of each student. Classical technique is the foundation for lessons, but students are encouraged to bring any music they are interested in, regardless of genre or style. Above all, she aims to foster a love of music in her community.
