Violin & Piano Lessons with Ana F.

Ana F. is a Cuban violinist with an active and diverse career in classical and contemporary music. After graduating in 2014 from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, where she trained under Professor Iresi García Ciao and played with the Havana Chamber Orchestra, she continued her studies at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), earning a Gold Diploma in violin performance in 2020. She studied under Professor Alfredo Muñoz Fernández and gained valuable experience through international summer courses in Germany with the CuE Project, performing in venues such as the Konzerthaus in Berlin and Wiesbaden under the baton of Thomas Hengelbrock.

Ana has received masterclasses from renowned violinists including Evelio Tieles, Francesco Manara, and Dmitry Sitkovetsky. As a member of the Liceo de La Habana Orchestra and the award-winning Café Quartet, she has performed with notable conductors and ensembles. She is a founding member of the Havana Quartet, which recently toured the U.S., including a performance at Minnesota Orchestra Hall.

Now based in Minnesota, Frómeta continues to perform throughout the Twin Cities while also engaging in music education and outreach. She is active in several musical projects, including Charanga Tropical and the Minnesota Sinfonia Chamber & Orchestra (MSC&O).
