Brenna Bast, Violin
Brenna Bast is a violinist based in Minneapolis, and has studied under Fargo Moorhead Symphony's Joan Covington, as well as Minnesota Orchestra's Roger Frisch. Brenna served as concertmaster to the Central Lakes Symphony, and the University of Minnesota Campus Orchestra, and also performs as a violinist in pitt ensembles throughout the Twin Cities, and greater Minnesota.
Her goal is to cultivate an interest and appreciation for violin music for each and every student. The Suzuki Method has proven, for her, to be the most motivating and effective technique for teaching very young students, but she also encourages branching out into fiddle music, folk tunes, pop music, and jazz in order to encourage a more rounded appreciation for music.
