Violin, Viola & Piano Lessons with Rodrigo R.

Rodrigo R. is a Brazilian violinist and music educator with a deep passion for both performing and teaching. He started his violin journey through social projects and learned from teachers like Ricardo Amado and Mariana Salles in Rio. Rodrigo earned his degree in Music Education and specialized in Violin Performance from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).

As a performer, Rodrigo has played with several orchestras, including the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and the Cesgranrio Symphony Orchestra, and has been the Concertmaster of the Camerata Laranjeiras. He has participated in festivals such as Rock in Rio and Nordlyfestivalen in Norway and has toured with artists like Maria Gadu and Criolo.

In music education, Rodrigo is dedicated to teaching and has trained in the Suzuki method. He has taught in various social projects in Rio de Janeiro and has been a private violin teacher for over a decade. Currently, he teaches string orchestra at the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra and is a music teacher at the Barack Obama School. He also completed a master's degree in Violin Performance at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
