Violin & Piano Lessons with Grace K
Grace K. is a talented musician from South Korea who was born in Texas, Fort Worth. She has committed her life to music, starting with the piano and subsequently mastering the violin. Grace continued her education at Western Kentucky University, where she had the honor of studying under the renowned Dr. Ching Yi Lin.
For several years, she served as the Western Kentucky Orchestra's associate concertmaster, demonstrating her excellent abilities.
In addition to her symphonic work, Grace worked as an accompanist for the Western Kentucky University choir, enhancing her collaborative musical skills. Grace also learned to become a collaborative pianist under Dr. Zachary Lopes and Dr. Speer.
She also helped out at the WKU String Academy as an accompanist and assistant.
Grace has experience teaching students from 4 to 18 years old. She teaches gospel music, the Suzuki Method, and any classic music.
Grace transferred to the University of Louisville, where she is presently studying under Dr. Geoffrey Herd. She is planning to complete her bachelor’s degree in performance major by winter 2025. Grace's enthusiasm for teaching can be seen in her students, many of whom have achieved amazing success, including selection to the All-State Orchestra. She's also shared her passion for music with beginner piano students at her church, some of whom have gone on to become the church's pianist. Grace's enthusiasm and commitment continue to have a tremendous impact on the lives of her students and the larger musical community.
