Piano Lessons with Emma Saba in NYC

American Lebanese pianist Emma Saba has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, and the Charlotte Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Most recently, she performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the White House Association’s 60th Gala. She gave her concerto debut with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at the age of 13 performing Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto. Saba was a prize winner in the MTNA National Competition, Vienna International Competition, and the Grand Virtuoso Competition.

Along with performing, Emma Saba is a pedagogue and chamber musician. She currently serves as a collaborative piano faculty member at New York University where she primarily works with the strings department of the Steinhardt Department of Music and Performing Arts. Saba has worked with solo violinists for the past seven years and performs regularly with her partner, Chenxiang Wang. She previously taught as an instructor of piano studies at New York University until 2022 and currently teaches privately in New York City. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Piano Teachers Congress of New York.

Emma Saba holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and master’s degree from New York University. During her undergraduate at Furman, she appeared as a concerto soloist with the Furman Symphony Orchestra in 2018. Saba’s principal teachers include David Gross, and Eduardus Halim.
