Violin & Viola Lessons with Jade D. N.
Jade is currently a senior at The Ohio State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in viola performance while also completing a pre-law track, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Jade began studying viola at a young age under the private instruction of notable violists and later expanded her musical studies to violin in 2021. She attended a performing arts high school in Dayton and has since performed with several pre-professional ensembles, most recently the OSU Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to her performance experience, Jade has worked with both children and adults as a viola and violin instructor, incorporating principles of the Suzuki method into her teaching approach. She is also passionate about expanding access to music education in underserved communities and has volunteered extensively with organizations similar to Venezuela’s El Sistema program, including Q The Music in Dayton.
Jade strives to make music education accessible, meaningful, and enriching by creating lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, while inspiring a lifelong appreciation for music
