Kelsey Broker, Violin
Kelsey Broker is from Pittsburgh and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Violin Performance at The Ohio State University. At OSU, Kelsey is a member of the symphony orchestra and involved in chamber music. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory last May. At Baldwin Wallace, Kelsey frequently performed in masterclasses with members from the Cleveland Orchestra and had the incredibly opportunity to perform in a master class with Phillip Setzer from the Emerson String Quartet. At Baldwin Wallace, Kelsey was hired as the student violin teacher through the Community Music School. In the past, Kelsey has been a member of the Ohio Light Orchestra and has taken part in the National Music Festival. She also had the opportunity to lead her week-long string camp entitled Music Has No Limits. In Pittsburgh, Kelsey was a member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra for two years and had the wonderful opportunity to travel and perform in Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, and Bratislava with the ensemble.
