Violin & Piano Lessons with Maya J.

I am a musician and educator who studied Violin and Piano Performance at Pikes Peak State College, and currently teaching private lessons in the Colorado Springs area. With a strong foundation in both instruments, I bring a well-rounded and versatile approach to piano instruction, helping students build both technical skill and artistic expression.

Music has been a central part of my life since I began at 6 years old, and that passion continues to grow through both teaching and performing. I believe that learning music should be an engaging and rewarding experience, and I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and develop confidence in their abilities.

As a teacher, I am dedicated to adapting my methods to fit each student’s individual learning style and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals while fostering a genuine love for music that lasts beyond the lesson room.
