Violin & Piano Lessons with Ilona Eke
Ilona Eke is a violist from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. While in Cleveland, she studied with Cleveland Orchestra violist, Lembi Veskimets and participated in orchestral ensembles at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Contemporary Youth Orchestra, and the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. She has taught private lessons as well as group lessons in violin, viola and beginning piano as well as general music classes for grades K-8. An avid chamber musician, she studied chamber music with Rictor Noren, Lee Fiser, and the Ariel String Quartet. She attended Interlochen Center for the Arts, Brevard Music Center, Green Mountain Chamber Festival, and Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves (Bordeaux, FR). She has performed with the Blue Ash Symphony Orchestra, Mason Symphony Orchestra and the Lima Symphony. Ilona received her Bachelor of Music, Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) under the direction of Dr. Catharine Lees and Professor Ayane Kozasa. She is passionate about teaching and working with all ages!
