Violin Lessons with Alexa V

Mrs. V is a professional orchestral violinist and private teacher originally from Orlando, Florida. She has performed with eight professional orchestras across the southeast and midwest, and is currently working on her master's degree in performance at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Timothy Lees, former concertmaster of the CSO. Recently, she performed in Mexico at Festival del Lago, where she studied with renowned pedagogues Moni Simeonov and Grigory Kalinovsky. During her undergraduate degree at Florida State University, her quartet won the Charleston International Music Competition in the College Quartet Division and she was a finalist for the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Additionally, she toured nationally and internationally with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras, performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein in Vienna.

Outside of music, Mrs. V holds a graduate certificate in Business Management from the IU Kelley School of Business and has a minor in Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, drawing, crafting, and traveling with her husband.
