Violet is a classically-trained professional musician and educator committed to helping students develop their musical abilities in a supportive and engaging environment. As an educator, Violet strives to provide instruction that is tailored to each student’s needs and goals. Her teaching emphasizes building a strong technical foundation while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and musical expression. Whether a student is pursuing music professionally or as a personal passion, her goal is to equip them with the skills and confidence to enjoy a lifelong journey with music. She has studied under Dr. Catharine Carroll-Lees at CCM for her bachelor's degree in music performance, and with Weiting Kuo of Chicago Symphony Orchestra for her master's degree at DePaul. As a performer, Violet has played in ensembles including Northbrook Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.
