Violin Lessons with Holly Harrison

Holly Harrison is excited to be teaching Violin and Viola for City Strings and Piano in Nashville! Holly relocated to Nashville in the summer of 2020 after falling in love with the city years before. Prior to moving to Tennessee she was a born-and-raised Californian and completed her schooling throughout California. Holly holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and Teaching Credential from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, a Master's degree in Viola Performance from Sacramento State University, and a B.A. from the University of California at Davis in Music History. As a freelance violist, Holly has performed with professional regional orchestras throughout California. She has been teaching violin and viola in the private studio since 2009 and classroom music and strings since 2012. As a Suzuki-trained string educator, Holly strives to create an environment where students are able to master concepts while feeling supported in their individual process of learning.
