Violin Lessons with Kai Z.

Violinist, Kai Z. began her musical journey at the age of seven. She has participated in multiple different summer institutes such as Killington Music Festival and the Sphinx Performance Academy and has studied with Tina Raimondi, Huifang Chen, Addison Teng, and Jessie Montgomery.

Kai is currently working on her degree in Violin Performance at DePaul University studying with prestigious Juilliard graduate and professor Ann Setzer. As an avid music education advocate since High School, she dedicated her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award in Girl Scouts to creating music classes and group lessons in middle and high schools throughout her hometown and in multiple different areas of Florida. She was chosen as a one of the ten National Gold Award Girl Scouts of 2019 where she was flown out to New York by Girl Scouts Headquarters to present her award and advocate for music education for all children at the Microsoft Headquarters and the United Nations. In 2020, she was chosen to represent the Northern Hemisphere for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts for the International Day of Girl.

Kai is a passionate music educator spending her time outside of her studies teaching students of all ages to play violin since she was 15 years old. Kai teaches the Suzuki Method alongside traditional classical pedagogy.
