Violin & Piano Lessons with Joshua Sukhdeo

Joshua Sukhdeo is a Chicago based violinist and piano teacher. Joshua first began his musical training on piano which he started at 5 years old. He then learned the violin at the age of 12 years old and decided to pursue music professionally for the rest of his life.

Joshua has studied chamber music intensively at the Corcoran Chamber Music Institute where he studied with the Aeolus Quartet. He additionally attended the Green Mountain Summer Music Festival and played in masterclasses by Timothy Shiu, Nicholas DeEugenio, and Kelly Hall Tompkins.

Joshua’s most memorable performances have been playing a chamber music recital at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium stage and working with Hans Zimmer at the Microsoft Inspire Convention.

Joshua holds a bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the University of North Carolina Greensboro where he studied with Marjorie Bagley. Joshua currently studies at Depaul where he is continuing his studies to pursue his master’s degree in violin performance with Dr. I-Hao Lee.
