Piano Lessons with Tina Hsieh

Pianist Tina Hsieh, a native of Taiwan, receiving a full scholarship came to the United States to pursue her master’s degree in piano performance at Florida State University under the tutelage of David Kalhous after finishing her bachelor’s degree at Fu-Jen Catholic University with a secondary degree of the German Language. Her teachers in Taiwan include Hsiang-Hao Kuo, Su-Chen Kuo, and Hui-Ling Chen. She also studied the Alexander Technique with certificated teacher Hsini Chen. She has performed in several master’s classes and received instruction from teachers including David Korevaar, Irina Morozova, Ian Hobson, Sean Duggan, and Vedrana Subotic. Her enthusiasm for performing is prominent. She has given multiple solo recitals in Taiwan as well as the States. She also performed at the Prague Piano Festival. Besides solo music, she is also passionate about collaborating with musicians. She was a member of the new music ensemble Polymorphia at FSU under the director Liliya Ugay. She is now pursuing a performance diploma in piano performance at Roosevelt University / Chicago College of Performing Arts with Winston Choi and Michal Drewnowski. Outside of music, she loves reading, hiking, and doing puzzles.
