Violin & Viola Lessons with Julianne S.

Julianne S is a classically trained music educator and string specialist who is passionate about helping students become confident musicians. She serves as the Orchestra Director at Boston Latin Academy and has taught private violin and viola lessons to students of a variety of ages and experience levels.

Ms. S holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Rhode Island College and a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Bridgewater State University. She has taught orchestra to students in grades 5-12 and private lessons to students age five through adult.

Ms. S began her musical journey on the viola at age eight and has performed throughout southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island on violin and viola. In her private lessons, she focuses on building strong fundamentals in technique and music reading while helping each student develop confidence, musicality, and a love of playing. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, interests, and goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
