Piano Lessons with Elijah S.

Elijah is a Bahamian concert pianist, composer, and artist educator. He is a graduate of the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. He previously studied with Olga Kern at the Manhattan School of Music and is also studying privately with Jerome Lowenthal at Juilliard.

Stevens is the first Bahamian ever to obtain an artist diploma, and he is now a double major master's student at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he studies piano, organ & composition with Jessica Xylina Osborne, Libor Dudas, and Akram Haddad. He is also a low-residency doctoral student of Pasquale Iannone at the Accademia Del Ridotto in Italy. Stevens has been invited to international festivals at Juilliard, Brevard, Tanglewood, and to perform in Spain, Dubai, the United Kingdom, and the USA.

Stevens has won top prizes in international competitions, which led to performing at Carnegie Hall in April 2024. In 2025, he was named Pianote’s “Most Inspiring Pianist of the Year.” Most notably, he was recognized by the U. S Department of Education as one of the “Best and Brightest” of students in America under the title “Whitehouse All-Star.”

His story of overcoming homelessness in pursuit of his musical dreams went viral online. His life motto, “Never take no for an answer,” guides his mission to inspire through music.
