Violin Lessons with Katie

Katie has studied violin since the age of six with instructors including Corinne Stillwell, K. Brandon Ironside, Annabelle Gardiner, and Ryan Kho. She has performed as a concerto soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, and orchestral player; her ensemble experience includes the FSU Symphony Orchestra, Masterworks Festival Orchestra, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, Janiec Opera Company Orchestra, and the Sinfonia Gulf Coast Quartet in Residence.

Katie has coached youth ensembles and taught private lessons with Bob Jones Academy, Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts, Piano Central Studios, and her own in-home studio. She also has experience with graphic design, video production, and social media marketing from her years as a Marketing Associate with the FSU College of Music.

Originally from South Carolina, Katie is enjoying Hoosier life with her husband and favorite violinist Daniel, who is pursuing a master's in film scoring at the IU Jacobs School of Music.
