Violin & Viola Lessons with Daria Dodonova

Daria Dodonova began her violin studies at the very young age in St Petersburg, Russia. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Violin Performance, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Peabody. She has been playing violin since she was two and a half years old and has developed a love for the viola as well. While at IWU Daria has been a member of multiple chamber groups, won the concerto/aria competition and was concertmaster of the Illinois Wesleyan Symphony Orchestra for four years. Daria has also enjoyed teaching through Wesleyan's Prep program. Daria has a great love for music and enjoys sharing that love with her students. She welcomes students of all ages and believes that it's never too late to start learning an instrument if the passion for it is there.
