Violin Lessons with Emma T.
Emma T. is pursuing a Masters of Music performance from the University of Texas at Austin, under the mentorship of Sandy Yamamoto. In Austin, she participates in the UT String project, frequents the stage with Austin Symphony Orchestra, and is studying the importance of rest in a musician’s routine. Emma holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance degree from Utah State University where she studied under the mentorship of Robert Waters and the Fry Street Quartet. There, Emma served as the concertmaster of the USU Symphony Orchestra and first violinist of the Caine String Quartet from 2022 to 2024, appeared with the USU Symphony Orchestra in 2023 as a winner of the Concerto Competition, and was a two-time first-place winner of the Utah ASTA Chamber Music Competition. She was also USU’s 2023-2024 Presser Scholar, awarded for achieving a high level of musical and academic excellence and exemplifying equity and inclusion values. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was valedictorian for the Caine College of the Arts in 2024. Emma’s love for violin has taken her all around the world from Moscow to rural Texas.
