Piano, Cello, and Violin Lessons with Daniel D.

As an internationally acclaimed artist, Daniel has been praised for his “electrifying performance” and “lush sound” by the Boston Globe. Daniel did his bachelor’s degrees at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where he studied with Kurt Reynolds (cellist), the Arianna String Quartet, and Alla Voskoboynikova (piano). He went on to pursue graduate degrees at Boston University, where he studied under Michael Reynolds (cellist), the Muir String Quartet, and Gila Goldstein (pianist). Daniel has collaborated with many of the world’s most celebrated musicians, including members of the Atrium, Parker, Tokyo, Vermeer, Cleveland, Muir, and Emerson string quartets. Daniel has appeared in concert throughout North America, South America, Asia, and Russia as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician.

Daniel has enjoyed a teaching career of 19+ years in classrooms and as a private teacher. In addition, his interest in teaching more widely has led to his establishing several festivals for young and amateur musicians, where he served not only as founder but also a coach. Daniel’s teaching style is a blend between the Russian and American schools, and his performance experience as a cellist, pianist, and conductor gives unique insights to his students. Daniel’s students have gone on to be accepted at some of the most prestigious music schools in the world, including the Juilliard School of Music, and the New England Conservatory.

Daniel has lived all across the country, including California, Washington, Missouri, Massachusetts, Florida, and Texas. Daniel loves to cook, and when he is not in the kitchen, you can find him riding on his motorcycle or playing volleyball. His favorite animal is the Panda Bear, and his favorite food is pizza. He is currently getting his pilot’s license and skydiving certification.
