Violin and Viola Lessons with Maria Sanderson

Maria Sanderson has been teaching violin for the past 12 years. She has taught violin at programs including Indiana University String Academy, Cornerstone Music Conservatory in Los Angeles, and Fairview Elementary School. Maria has won numerous classical competitions and is the gold medalist of the Sphinx National Strings Competition. She has gone on tour both nationally and internationally and has had the privilege of performing with renowned orchestras including the Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and New World Symphony Orchestra. She Received her Bachelor of Music from Indiana University and has performed in concert venues including Carnegie Hall. She has collaborated with musicians such as Joshua Bell, Midori, Augustin Hadelich and Vadim Repin. Although classically trained, Maria also enjoys playing baroque, fiddle, bluegrass, folk and Irish music.
