Katia was principal cellist at the Youth Orchestra in the State of Sao Paulo, where she had a special moment playing at Konzerthaus in Berlin, during a tour in Europe. She also played in professional orchestras in Brazil, including Bachiana Philharmonic, Fukuda Cello Ensemble, Jazz Symphony, and Camerata Fukuda.
