Piano Lessons with Michelle Mock
Michelle Mock has been playing piano since August of 2000. She was primarily self-taught until shortly after she auditioned on piano for VanderCook College of Music. She graduated from VanderCook Magna Cum Laude in May of 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Her professional experience began while she was still a senior in high school by playing as an accompanist for the students taking voice lessons. She continues being an accompanist for several school and church choirs in the Chicagoland area today, along with teaching privately. Michelle began teaching privately as a sophomore in college once she started learning the skills it took to be a teacher. Since then she has taught students of all ages at a variety of stages in their musical development. As a person, Michelle is fun loving, adventurous, and determined. She gives 110% to everything that she does. Aside from playing piano, she loves reading, hiking, and dancing. Michelle is also very animal friendly, and has her own little black cat as a companion at home who enjoys listening to her practicing.
